This busy hospital suffered from severe site constraints. Due to the steep grade, patrons arriving from the parking garage had to enter through a separate building, take the elevator, and proceed through an intervening building to reach the hospital proper. The solution involved a clearly marked "Main Route" supported with plan and elevation maps at key points. All signage was tri-lingual in English, Spanish and Mandarin.
